Hi, I’m Andres Galvez, the photographer behind High Key Portraits. My journey into photography started in 2014 when I launched a small photo booth business. What began as small side gig quickly turned into a passion. Over the last decade, that passion has grown into a career photographing everything from concerts and live events to action sports, corporate gatherings, and portraits.

What I enjoy most about photography is creating an experience that makes people feel confident, comfortable, and genuinely excited to be in front of the camera. Through years of working in fast-paced event environments, I’ve learned how to blend professionalism with a fun and approachable atmosphere, helping every guest walk away with photos they’re proud to share.
My Story
High Key Portraits was created from years of experience in both photo booth entertainment and professional portrait photography. I originally started in the event industry in 2014 operating photo booths, where I learned how much people enjoy interactive photography experiences and capturing moments with friends, family, and coworkers in a fun environment.
As my career evolved, I spent the next several years focused on portrait and event photography, developing a style centered around clean lighting, genuine expressions, and creating an experience that helps people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
High Key Portraits brings those two worlds together — combining the energy and excitement of a photo booth with the quality and attention to detail of professional portrait photography.

The goal is simple: create an elevated event portrait experience where every guest walks away with more than just a quick snapshot. Every image is captured with the intention of creating portraits that are worthy of being displayed on your wall long after the event is over.
